Analysis and Troubleshooting of Common Faults in Longxin Four-in-One Air Compressors
Failure to start
Power supply issues
This may be due to the power supply not being connected or the voltage being too low,
preventing the device from receiving sufficient power to start.
The solution is to check whether the power connection is correct
and measure whether the voltage meets the device's requirements.
Emergency stop button status
An unrecovered emergency stop button prevents equipment start-up.
This issue may be resolved by resetting the emergency stop button.
Condition of Variable Frequency Drive
The variable frequency drive has malfunctioned, preventing equipment start-up.
It is necessary to investigate the controller or variable frequency drive error messages,
addressing each fault systematically.
Low Gas Pressure Fault
Air Filter Blockage
A blocked air filter obstructs airflow,
impeding gas pressure generation.
Restore normal gas pressure by cleaning or replacing
the air filter.
Pipeline leakage
Leaks in the pipeline cause compressed air to escape,
resulting in low gas production pressure. Careful inspection to locate the leak point is required, followed by tightening procedures.
Excessive gas consumption
When downstream equipment consumes gas at a rate exceeding the air compressor's output capacity, it will cause the output pressure to drop. Inspect the downstream equipment and adjust the gas consumption appropriately.
Exhaust temperature excessively high
Fault
Coolant issues
Insufficient or degraded coolant
impairs cooling efficiency,
resulting in elevated exhaust temperatures.
Top up or replace coolant
to ensure proper cooling system operation.
Oil cooler blockage
Oil cooler blockage impedes coolant circulation, reducing heat dissipation efficiency. The oil cooler must be cleaned to restore its heat dissipation function.
Impact of Ambient Temperature
Excessively high ambient temperatures increase the difficulty of equipment heat dissipation, leading to elevated exhaust temperatures.
The effect of ambient temperature can be mitigated by improving ventilation conditions around the equipment.
Other Common Faults
Excessive moisture in compressed air
This may be caused by the refrigerated dryer being switched off or malfunctioning,
failure to drain the air receiver tank promptly, or excessively high ambient humidity.
The solution involves checking the refrigerated dryer's operational status, manually draining accumulated water,
and installing additional downstream filtration equipment.
Excessive noise
Loose components, worn bearings, or foreign objects entering the machinery may cause increased noise during operation.
Tighten screws, inspect the foundation, contact professional maintenance personnel to address bearing issues, and halt the machine to inspect and remove any foreign objects.
Increased oil content in compressed air
Damaged oil separator or blocked return oil line
may cause increased oil content in compressed air.
Replace the oil separator element, clean the return oil line or check valve to resolve.
